Denim and Drinks at Saks Fifth Avenue's D-Bar
Written by Doug Haley
Beverly Hills, CA -
Saks Fifth Avenue co-hosted with ultra popular LA street artist - Alec Monopoly the launch party for the highly anticipated underground denim men's denim shop, D-Bar. The innovative denim haven was introduced as part of the newly renovated men’s store at the Saks Fifth's historic Beverly Hills location appropriately named THE FIFTH MAN.
The stand-alone lifestyle store offers a one-of-a-kind shopping
experience highlighted by all-new designer boutiques.

As guests entered the party, they were greeted by a slew of young male models in denim
and white tees.
The entire store was closed down for the event, which provided a cool atmosphere. The décor included a lounge area with an orange felt top custom-designed pool table, a floor to ceiling street-art-inspired mural by artist Karl Clay, boardwalk wood walls, neon light installation, and furniture swathed in velvet and leather. On a personal
note: I was excited to see all the men's shoes that were being showcased from Italian designer,Giuseppe Zanotti.

Party guests were kept fed with a European meat and cheese bar provided
by local dining hot spot TASTE - one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles. As guests perused the store, there was plenty of amazing denim on display.
Highlights from the night include a small circle speech led by Peter Kim-CEO and President of Hudson Jeans, and plentiful sightings of Jessica Alba. Hudson Jeans and Alec Monopoly just started a unique
denim and street art capsule collection which will be arriving at stores soon.
