Renowned designer will present latest Autumn 2012 looks.

For over a decade, the designs of David Meister have made women fall in love with their curves. Specializing in evening wear and red carpet couture, David Meister is known for his sophisticated, yet body conscious dress designs.

A native of Ohio, Meister earned a degree in fashion design from the University of  The University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning. It was while working at the fitness wear company, Danskin, that Meister taught himself the magic of stretch in fabrication, and how it can be used to masterfully present the feminine form in a way that flatters curves and embodies glamour – a concept still prevalent in his designs today.

A favorite among Hollywood’s leading ladies including Sharon Stone, Sophia Vergara, Viola Davis and Diane Lane, his designs are elegant while evoking subtle sexiness using stylish fabrications like stretch satin, matte jersey, and silk chiffon.

In addition, Meister also serves as an ambassador for Dress for Success -- a non-profit organization that provides interview suits, confidence boosts, and career development to low-income women in over 75 cities worldwide.

Red carpet favorite, David Meister will appear Saks Fifth Avenue South Coast Plaza presenting his Fall/Holiday 2012 collection on Wednesday, October 17th 2012. This event is open to the public and will include cocktails, a live DJ and an informal fashion presentation.
