Jane Doe John Doe Boutique's launch party on December 10th, 2008 was a blast. The boutique is a creative partnership between designer Ani Lee and season five Project Runway finalist Jerell Scott. Talk about a party, holy crap there were so many people there and it wasn't for just a hot minute it was all night!
Jerell gathered the talented winner of season five Project Runway Leanne Marshall, finalist Korto Momolu and contestant Stella Barabella to provide exclusive pieces for the Boutique. Korto attended the party and was just a blast to talk to. Below is the exclusive dress by Leanne Marshall for the boutique...
There are many other talented designers at the boutique, Ani Lee's collection is one of my favorites because its so vintage woman with a modern edge. Some young talent Lily Mark, Teresa Celebresa, Alice Schoenau, and Daisy Gonzalez as also some of my favorites as well.
The party was not only packed with lots of lovely fashionable people, but press up the wazoo and celebrities. Project Runway alums, Nick Verreos (not sure if he remembered me from Seattle, I've only interviewed the man twice), and Kit Pistol (such a doll). My celebrity encounters also included Alexander Yuval David from Day's of Our Lives.
